Cre and FLP Deleter Lines

The Cre/lox and FLP/FRT technologies are two genetic tools designed to allow both the location and timing of gene expression to be closely regulated.

EMMA offers a variety of Cre and FLP recombinase deleter lines to work with the extensively used Cre/lox and FLP/FRT recombination systems:

• More than 390  Cre driver lines including over 200  Cre drivers produced in the EUCOMMTools project and  36 Cre drivers produced by PHENOMIN-ICS
• FLP deleter lines

The EUCOMMTOOLS project created over 220 Cre driver mouse lines where tamoxifin inducible Cre expression vectors have replaced the coding elements of genes with restricted tissue expression. All EUCOMMTOOL Cre driver mouse lines are generated on a pure C57BL/6N genetic background making this a unique resource for IMPC researchers.
