Genetic information | The gene-trap vector PT1-ATG (also known as PT1) was used. It contains the En-2 splice acceptor site fused to the promoterless lacZ reporter gene with an ATG translational start site. PT1 also contains the bacterial neomycin-resistance gene, neo, driven by the PGK-1 promoter. In the case of 3E the integration site of the gene-trap vector is 34 bp upstream of the start site (ATG) of the exportin 4 gene. |
Phenotypic information | Phenotypically normal |

Archiving centre | Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell, Oxford, United Kingdom |
Breeding at archiving centre | Males were archived by sperm freezing on arrival. No breeding was performed at the archiving centre. Males may be either homozygous or heterozygous for the mutation. Carriers of the mutation are identified by the presence or absence of lacZ sequence on Southern blots. |
