Information from provider

ProviderRAFAEL PULIDO-MURILLO
Provider affiliationLABORATORY OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY OF CANCER, CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIÓN PRINCIPE FELIPE
Genetic informationTransgenic mouse in strain C57BL/6 x SJL; gene affected Pten (MGI ref. 109583); Pten is mutated in residues phosphorylated by CK2 (qma, Ser370Ala, Ser380Ala, Thr382Ala, Thr383Ala, and Ser385Ala). The subcellular localization of PTEN qma is nuclear in cell lines and favours the apoptosis.
Phenotypic informationThe expression of the transgene does not have any phenotype in the mouse strain.
Breeding historyThe founder was crossed with the wt strain C57BL/6 x SJL to generate the heterozygous animals. The heterozygous animals were backcrossed 6 times with brothers and sisters until we obtained the homozygous animals.
