Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
The strain does show minor developmental defects and especially relevant immunological and cancer phenotypes (reported in literature, e.g. Shi et al., 2000; Sierra et al., 2008). However, further studies are warranted. Especially, the strain should be crossed with other genetically modified mouse models with cancer or immune deficiency-related phenotypes, as well as with mutants of other class 4 semaphorins, in order to take into account redundant activities (as recently shown for members of this subfamily, Xia et al., 2015).

Heterozygous:
The heterozygous mice do not show any phenotype.
