Genetic informationMice were generated by bacterial artificial chromosome transgenesis (BAC) RPCI446D10. The tetracycline transactivator gene (tTA) was inserted downstream of the Ccl19 promoter and followed by an internal ribosomal entry site (IRES) with downstream tdTomato gene and polyadenylation signal. The recombined BAC construct obtained was microinjected into oocytes from C57BL/6 mice.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Ccl19-expressing cells express tTA and tdTomato.

Heterozygous:
Ccl19-expressing cells express tTA and tdTomato. Similar to EMMA strain EM:12720. However in this strain the Ccl19-expressing cells express tTA and tdTomato at a lower level compared to EM:12720. Consequently tdTomato was not detected in histology sections of lymphnodes or by flow cytometry. When crossed to Tg(tetO-cre)LC1Bjd and the Gt(ROSA)26Sor-StopFlox-EYFP reporter strain, EYFP- positive cells can be identified in lymphoid tissues.
Breeding historyMice were backcrossed to C57BL/6 for more than 10 generations.
