Information from provider

ProviderMalissen Marie
Provider affiliationCentre d'Immunologi de Marseille Luminy
Genetic informationComplete knock-out with deletion of exons 1-5. Deletion was obtained by the introduction of a loxP-neo cassette which was subsequently removed by crossing with cre recombinase deleter mice.
Phenotypic informationLime1 (or Lime, Lck interacting molecule) is predominantly expressed in T lymphocytes. Lime becomes phosphorylated after coreceptors cross-linking. Lime appears to be involved in regulation of T cell activation by coreceptors. The Lime1 knock-out mutation does not prevent normal development and activation of lymphocytes.
Breeding historyThis strain was first crossed onto a cre-deleter strain, followed by 8 backcrosses to C57BL/6.
