Information from provider

ProviderFlorian GUILLOU
Provider affiliationINRA, INRA
Genetic informationA 3.6 Kbp EcoRI/AvrII fragment of the human anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH, or Mullerian inhibitor substance, MIS) gene promoter was inserted upstream of the cre recombinase gene with the metallothionein I polyadenylation signal. The cre gene contains a T to G transversion in the -3 position, relative to the AUG translation start, that increases the translational proficiency of the cre transcript. The insertion site of the original cre transgene has then been mapped to intron 3 of the Plekha5 gene.
Phenotypic informationThis line has a scientific interest for conditional gene knock-out in Sertoli cells and granulosa cells.
Breeding history2 backcrosses to C57BL/6.
