Information from provider

ProviderJean-Paul Herman
Provider affiliationCNRS - Université de la Méditerranée
Genetic informationThe Cre2ERT2 strain is a conditional deleter strain. Cre2ERT2 (ERT2-icre-ERT2) encodes the cre recombinase protein with the ligand binding domain of estrogen receptor fused to its N- and C-terminal end cre expression is inducible by tamoxifen. The coding sequence for Cre2ERT2 has been knocked into the Gt(ROSA)26Sor locus and is under the control of the Gt(ROSA)26Sor promoter.
Phenotypic informationNone observed.
Breeding historyF1 animals were backcrossed to C57BL/6 animals for two generations and inbred thereafter to obtain homozygous animals. They are presently inbred.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
