Genetic informationTg(Cd74-rtTA)#Doi: The Cd74 promoter, together with the H2-Ea enhancer, drives the expression of an improved reverse tet transactivator, rtTA-S2. Four independent lines were produced. An un-named line showing the lowest liver expression was used. Tg(tetO-Cd74/MCC)#Doi: Seven tetO sequences were combined with the CMV minimal promoter to drive expression, when induced by doxycycline, of a construct composed of the Cd74 cDNA and a segment of moth cytocrome c cDNA encoding amino acid residues 93 to 103, which replace the CLIP region of Cd74 (amino acid residues 88 to 98).
Phenotypic informationBoth transgenes confer inducibility of the moth cytochrome C antigen presented by H-2Ek following doxycyclin administration, mostly by dendritic cells.
Breeding historyBackcrossed more than 10 generations to B10.BR-H2k H2-T18a/SgSnJ. Currently brother x sister matings. C57BL/6 or C57BL/10 best conventional background usable for this line.

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen embryos. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
