Genetic informationAn IRES-CreERT2 cassette was knocked in between the termination codon and the polyadenylation signal of the Polr2a gene to allow for bicistronic expression of the tamoxifen inducible Cre recombinase CreERT2. This mouse strain is used for inducible ubiquitous Cre recombinase expression.
Phenotypic informationNo phenotype is associated to this mutation.
Breeding historyChimeras were crossed with CD1 females for germ line transmission analysis. Heterozygous animals were crossed with Tg(ACTFLPe)9205Dym mice to remove the frt-flanked neomycin resistance cassette used for homologous recombination selection. Then the line was backcrossed to C57BL/6J for more than 10 generations. Line has been maintained in homozygosis.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen sperm. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
