Genetic informationTamoxifen-inducible Ddx5 (p68) knockout: C57BL/6-p68tm1303_133.1 Arte -Tg(ACTB-Flpe)2Arte -Gt(ROSA)26Sortm9(Cre/ESR)Arte
Phenotypic informationMouse strain has no detectable phenotype in the absence of activated cre recombinase. Tamoxifen treatment induces p68 (Ddx5) knockout in multiple tissues; this results in hypo-plastic bone marrow and alterations in tissue organisation in the large intestine of a high proportion of mice. However we have only been able to perform short term experiments. These mice would be ideal for the generation of tissue-specific p68 knockout models.
Breeding historyIt can be bred homozygously or heterozygously.
