Information from provider

ProviderRolf Sprengel
Provider affiliationMolecular Neurobiology, Max Planck Institute for Medicarl Reasearch
Genetic informationThe transgene CN12 drives the expression of the humanized version of the tTA (itTA) by CamkII promoter and the neuron specific silencer of the grin2C gene specific to excitatory neurons in the forebrain. The transgene LC encodes the tTA dependent luciferase and Cre recombinase under the control of the bidirectional TetO promoter.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
not known

Heterozygous:
In the presence of doxycycline in the drinking water the transgenes are not expressed
Breeding history70 embryos from matings of double transgenic mice with C57BL/6 mice were harvested and cryoconserved in March 2003
