RD-Factory Opens Nominations for Rare Disease Targets: Next in October 2025

October 8, 2025

The RD-Factory program, led by the Czech Centre for Phenogenomics (CCP), supports preclinical research targeting rare genetic diseases. The recent RD-Factory Workshop held on 10 September served as a knowledge-sharing and proposal development platform for researchers, patient advocates, and clinicians. The program invites nominations for gene and disease targets to accelerate translational research efforts and therapy development.
Following two successful rounds of submissions, the initiative is about to open a third call for proposals in October 2025, continuing to foster collaboration between scientific and patient communities to drive innovative rare disease research in the Czech Republic and beyond.

The project has also garnered media attention for its unique participatory model and impact potential.

Third Open Call information coming soon! (see previous call HERE).
