INFRAFRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER (f/m/x)
Maternity leave cover: 1 year – part time
INFRAFRONTIER ERIC is a non-profit organisation located in Munich (Germany), at the premises of the Helmholtz Munich, that acts as the Coordination Office of the INFRAFRONTIER Research Infrastructure.
INFRAFRONTIER is the European Research Infrastructure for human disease modelling and provides unique resources, services and expertise to advance the understanding of human health and disease using in vivo and in vitro models.
We are looking for a highly motivated Communications Officer (f/m/x) for a one-year, part-time maternity leave cover position.
Main responsibilities:
Implementation of communication measures for INFRAFRONTIER; in particular:
- Generation and updating of content for the INFRAFRONTIER website (including regular news items) and LinkedIn profile
- Generation of regular INFRAFRONTIER newsletters
- Assistance with INFRAFRONTIER Conference 2026 organisation (info materials, website, etc,.)
- Coordination of communication activities and deliverables assigned to INFRAFRONTIER ERIC in EU-funded projects
- Assistance with coordinating communication activities across the INFRAFRONTIER partner network
- Representation of INFRAFRONTIER at scientific events and conferences
- Measurement of the performance of INFRAFRONTIER communication activities
Requirements of the role:
- Qualification and/or work experience in science communication
- Excellent understanding of the life sciences (scientific background desirable)
- Confident command of digital communication tools and channels (wordpress, social platforms, mailchimp, graphical design tools, etc,.)
- Independent, structured working style and the ability to organise complex tasks and deliver results on time
- Full-professional proficiency in verbal and written English
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in an international team
- Willingness to travel to international conferences and events
