INFRAFRONTIER will participate in GMG2S 2027 in Seoul, contributing a workshop on the integration of Complex In Vitro Models (CIVMs) with established in vivo mouse models. The session will explore how combining these complementary approaches can advance disease modelling, drug discovery and preclinical research while supporting the 3Rs principles of Replacement, Reduction and Refinement.

INFRAFRONTIER is pleased to announce its participation in GMG2S 2027 in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together the international community to exchange knowledge and discuss advances in genetic and model-based biomedical research.

As part of the conference programme, INFRAFRONTIER will contribute a workshop dedicated to Complex In Vitro Models (CIVMs) and their integration with established in vivo mouse models. The session will explore how these complementary approaches can be combined across the experimental pipeline to strengthen disease modelling, drug discovery and preclinical research.

INFRAFRONTIER is actively developing and validating advanced mouse- and human-derived CIVMs, including organoids, organotypic cultures, microfluidic systems and three-dimensional tissue models. These New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) provide new opportunities for controlled mechanistic studies, scalable screening and the investigation of human-specific biology, while also supporting the principles of Replacement, Reduction and Refinement (3Rs).

The workshop will highlight how CIVMs and in vivo models can be strategically integrated, drawing on the distinct strengths of each approach to generate more informative, efficient and translationally relevant research.
