Mosaic Analysis with Double Markers (MADM)

The collection of transgenic MADM lines for each mouse chromosome, developed mainly by the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (IST Austria) and the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna (Vetmeduni Vienna, Austria), is a resource for genetic mosaic analysis with double markers of >96% of the entire mouse genome. They allow to visualize and concomitantly manipulate genetically defined cells in mice with single-cell resolution. PMID: 34161767.

These are the MADM strains available from EMMA.
