Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderChristophe Viret
Provider affiliationINSERM U1111 - CNRS UMR5308, Centre International de Recherche en Infectiologie (CIRI)
Genetic informationRearranged genes coding for the alpha and beta chains of the mouse 1H3.1 T cell receptor (TCR). Alpha chain: Va1-Ja21 segment combination. Beta Chain: Vb6-Db2.1-Jb2.6 segment combination. TCR specificity: Ea52-68:I-Ab complex. That is, the conserved 52 to 68 region of the mouse major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II I-E alpha (I-Ea) chain recognized in the context of the mouse MHC class II I-Ab ab.
Phenotypic informationNo defect known.
Breeding historyBackcrossed to C57BL/6 mice from Jackson more than 10 times, imported to Charles Rivers France, rederived on C57BL/6 background, currently bred and cryopreserved (embryos) at Charles Rivers France. The cryopreserved embryos could be directly imported to EMMA. There is no need to re-perform cryopreservation.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
