| Genetic information | A targeting vector, encoding two loxP sites flanking exon 5 of the Il1r1 gene, was inserted. An FRT-flanked neomycin resistance (neo) cassette was placed downstream of the 3' loxP site. The gene targeting event was confirmed by PCR analysis. Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT-flanked neo cassette. |
