Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Genetic informationThe Igh 3’ cluster regulatory region 152 (Rr152 or 3'RR) controls class switch recombination (CSR) and somatic hypermutation (SHM) in B cells. The mouse 3’RR contains four enhancer elements with hs1,2 flanked by inverted repeated intervening sequences (IRIS) and the center of a 25-kb palindrome bounded by two hs3 enhancer inverted copies (hs3a and hs3b); hs4 lies downstream of the palindrome. We generated and analysed mice without the left part of the 3'RR (hs3a-IRIS-hs1,2): Delta2-3'RR-deficient mice.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Decrease of somatic hypermutation rate in VH gene. Decrease of class switch recombination. Decrease in circulating Ig levels. Decrease of germinal transcription of IgH genes.

Heterozygous:

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen sperm. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
