Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderIsabelle Mansuy
Provider affiliationInstitute of Cell, Swiss Federal Institute of technologies
Genetic informationTransgenic mice that overexpress a truncated form of calcineurin (Ppp3ca) under the control of the CaMKII-alpha promoter.
Phenotypic informationMice expressing this transgene show increased calcium-dependent phosphatase activity in the hippocampus. These mice have normal short-term memory but defective long-term memory on both a spatial task and on a visual recognition task.
Breeding historyN=10
