| Genetic information | Exon 21 of the kinase domain of the Pik3c3 (Vps34) gene was flanked by loxP sites. This exon encodes a critical stretch of 25 amino acids (Ala730 to Thr754) in the VPS34 kinase domain, producing an in-frame deletion upon Cre-mediated recombination, generating a truncated version of VPS34 which is catalytically inactive (Supplementary Fig S1A, B in Frontiers in Immunology;15;1374621; PMID: 39664390). |
| Phenotypic information | Homozygous:Mice are phenotypically normal.Heterozygous:Mice are phenotypically normal. |
| Breeding history | Backcrossed onto C57BL/6J for more than 10 generations. |
