  3. No check for determining the copy number of the targeting construct in ES cells obtained from EUCOMM/KOMP is done by INFRAFRONTIER/EMMA.
  4. The level of quality control before mice are released is to confirm the individual mouse genotype by short range PCR.

Genetic informationThis mouse line originates from KOMP ES clone EPD0017_3_A07. For further details on the construction of this clone see the page at the IMPC portal.
Please note: Chimaeric progeny from this colony were bred to C57BL/6Dnk animals contaminated with B6.129P2-Apoetm1Unc. Offspring were tested for the tm1Unc allele of ApoE and only used for colony expansion if they carried two wildtype copies of the ApoE gene. Therefore, progeny issued from this line are not expected to carry the Apoetm1Unc allele. They may, however, carry some residual C57BL/6J or 129P2/OlaHsd contamination.
