Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderManuel Morales
Provider affiliationBiochemistry and molecular genetics, Hospital Clinic
Genetic informationThis strain was generated by creating a Dhx15 knock-out in C57BL/6 mice by microinjection of TALENs in fertilized eggs. The Dhx15 gene (GeneBank accession number: NM_007839.3; Ensembl: ENSMUSG00000029169) is located on mouse chromosome 5. Fourteen exons have been identified, with the ATG start codon in exon 1 and the TGA stop codon in exon 14. Exon 2 was selected as TALEN target site.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Homozygous mice are not viable.

Heterozygous:
No phenotype observed.
Breeding historyFounders (F0): C57BL/6 x C57BL/6 (WT) Founders (F1): C57BL/6 x C57BL/6 (WT)
