Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderMinna Kaikkonen-Määttä
Provider affiliationA.I. Virtanen -instituutti, University of Eastern Finland
Additional ownerThe original cfms-L10a-EGFP strain was developed by Prof. Christopher Glass at University of California San Diego. The L10a-EGFP construct was provided by Prof. Nathaniel Heintz, Howard Hughes Medical Institute/The Rockefeller University.
Genetic informationThe construct expressing L10alpha ribosomal subunit (Rpl10a) fused to EGFP was obtained from N. Heintz (Rockfeller U., NY). The EGFP-L10alpha construct was then cloned downstream of the Csf1r (c-fms) promoter (Sasmono et al., Blood 2003, doi:10.1182/blood-2002-02-0569) and the resulting vector injected into the pronuclei of fertilized oocytes. The EGFP-L10alpha fusion protein is constitutively expressed in myeloid cells. The expression of EGFPL10alpha allows to specifically immunprecipitate polysome bound mRNA in myeloid cells.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
The expression of EGFPL10alpha allows to specifically immunprecipitate polysome bound mRNA in myeloid cells.

Heterozygous:
The expression of EGFPL10alpha allows to specifically immunprecipitate polysome bound mRNA in myeloid cells.
Breeding historyTransgenic mice were generated in the C57BL/6NHsd (code 044) genetic background and have been bred to C57BL/6JOlaHsd since 2013.
