Heterozygous:
The mice display physiological-like cardiac hypertrophy at adult stage. The observed cardiac hypertrophy is established around postnatal day 7 (P7). The pups are born in mendelian ratio.
Breeding historyMice have been maintained in C57BL/6JRj (Janvier) background as heterozygous for the transgene.

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.
