| Genetic information | Information sourced from supplementary data 1 for dhttps://doi.org/10.1101/500389: This mouse line was created via ES cell to mouse conversion. A mouse embryonic stem (ES) cell line (XT0252, strain 129/Ola) with an insertional mutation. The insertional mutation in XT0252, by the genetrapping vector, pGT1lxf, that was designed to create an in-frame fusion between the 5' exons of the trapped gene and a reporter, Beta galactosidase and neomycin phosphotransferase II, occurred in intron 10-11. Thus, the gene-trapped locus is predicted to yield a fusion transcript containing exon 1-10 of Dab2ip and Beta-geo. |
| Phenotypic information | Mutant mice showed little overall behavioural difference from wildtypes in elevated plus maze task and open field/object exploration task |
| Breeding history | Mice were maintained by backcrossing onto the 129S5/SvEvBrd background; heterozygous males and females were fertile and used to set up intercrosses to generate |
