Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Provider affiliationWellcome Trust Sanger Institute
Genetic informationInformation sourced from supplementary data 1 for dhttps://doi.org/10.1101/500389: This mouse line was created via ES cell to mouse conversion. A mouse embryonic stem (ES) cell line (XT0252, strain 129/Ola) with an insertional mutation. The insertional mutation in XT0252, by the genetrapping vector, pGT1lxf, that was designed to create an in-frame fusion between the 5' exons of the trapped gene and a reporter, Beta galactosidase and neomycin phosphotransferase II, occurred in intron 10-11. Thus, the gene-trapped locus is predicted to yield a fusion transcript containing exon 1-10 of Dab2ip and Beta-geo.
Phenotypic informationMutant mice showed little overall behavioural difference from wildtypes in elevated plus maze task and open field/object exploration task
Breeding historyMice were maintained by backcrossing onto the 129S5/SvEvBrd background; heterozygous males and females were fertile and used to set up intercrosses to generate
