Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

Provider MRC, Medical Research Council
Provider affiliationMary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell
Genetic informationThis strain carries an ENU mutagenesis induced a T to A point mutation in the third zinc finger domain that results in the amino acid susbtitution of cystine for serine at position 183 (C183S). This mutation is predicted to disrupt zinc binding and the ability of the protein to act as a transcription factor.
Phenotypic informationMice display pulmonary, tracheal, and oesophageal agenesis, small, hypoplastic lungs, and occasionally disply spinal bifida.
Breeding historyOriginal mutant was the offspring of a BALB/cAnn male that received ENU mated to a C3H/HeH female. Congenic on C3H/HeH
