Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

Provider MRC, Medical Research Council
Provider affiliationMary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell
Genetic informationDim arose in a pedigree in which the G3 offspring had headbobs, full body tremors and cardiac dysfunction. These phenotypes were subsequently segregated.
Phenotypic informationThe DIM mice only carry the cardiac dysfunction. Mice from this pedigree need careful welfare assessment daily, as the phenotype is very subtle. Mice will show signs of squinting of their eyes, and will have a flattened hind gait and move slowly when disturbed. This pedigree may be useful to investigate diseases associated with cardiac abnormalities. The onset of end point cardiac dysfunction may be dependent on genetic background. In our hands the mice reach their end point on average at E32 in C3H.Pde6b mice and on average at E43 in C57BL/6J mice.
Breeding historyCongenic on C57BL/6J
