| Genetic information | The oncogenic nucleophosmin/anaplastic lymphoma tyrosine kinase (NPM-ALK; associated with anaplastic large cell lymphoma) is expressed in the T lineage of these transgenic mice under the control of the CD2 promoter. Approx. 10% of these mice develop lymphoid malignancies at ages ranging from 9 months to over 2 years. The tumours are of various phenotypes including thymic, splenic and hepatic. |
