Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Alternative namePrss8 lox/lox
Strain typeTargeted Mutant Strains : Conditional mutation
Allele/Transgene symbolPrss8tm1Hum
Gene/Transgene symbolPrss8

Information from provider

ProviderEdith Hummler
Provider affiliationPharmacology & Toxicology, University of Lausanne
Genetic informationIn addition to an FRT flanked neo cassette and a downstream 5' flank loxP site inserted into intron 2, a 3' flank loxP site was inserted into intron 5. The floxed region contained exons 3 through 5. Northern blot analysis showed reduced levels of transcript in heterozygous and homozygous mutant mice.
Phenotypic informationNo phenotype.
