Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderVassilis Aidinis
Provider affiliationInstitute of Immunology, B.S.R.C. Al. Fleming
Genetic informationThis allele was derived from Enpp2tm1Vart, in which a neomycin selection cassette was inserted upstream of exon 1, and the neo cassette and exons 1 and 2 were flanked by loxP sites. Both exons and the selection cassette were then excised ubiquitously by CMV-cre-mediated recombination to generate the full knock-out allele. Heterozygous full KO mice are healthy and fertile. Homozygous full KO embryos die at E9.5 due to aberrant circulation and failure of neural tube closure. The absence of protein expression in homozygous full KO embryos was confirmed by immunohistochemistry.
Phenotypic informationEmbryonic lethality before turning of embryo

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen sperm. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
