Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Gene/Transgene symbolCcr6, Itgae

Information from provider

ProviderKamel Benlagha
Provider affiliationINSERM
Genetic informationThe mice are doubly deficient for the Ccr6 and Itgae (common name CD103) genes by disruption caused by an insertion of a vector containing a bacterial LacZ and a neomycin resistance gene, respectively, in the endogenous genes.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous null mice have decreased inflammatory responses, aberrant trafficking of lymphocytes and dendritic cells, and decreased expression of many inflammatory mediators. They also exhibit reductions in the numbers of intestinal and vaginal intraepithelial lymphocytes and of T lymphocytes of the lamina propria.
Breeding historyMice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J for more than 10 generations and are maintained as homozygotes.

Order

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
