In physiological condition, only GFP is expressed and localized in forebrain areas (hippocampus, cortex, striatum). After recombination with cre-expressing mice (through user choice), GFP cassette is excised and it occurs expression of hCbs cDNA in cells coexpressing the cre recombinase transgene. |
