Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderGeorge Kollias
Provider affiliationInstitute of Immunology, B.S.R.C. Al. Fleming
Genetic informationA 3-loxP targeting vector containing 5' and 3' homology arms with mouse Map3k8 (Tpl2) gene, a neomycin cassette flanked by loxP1 and loxP2 and exon 4 flanked by loxP2 and loxP3 was used for the generation of targeted mice through targeting of C57BL/6-derived Bruce4 ES cells with above vector and selection by homologous recombination. The final version of the mouse line derived from live mice bearing the homologous integration of targeting vector in the germ line where neomycin cassette was removed upon in vivo recombination by a C57BL/6 EIIa-cre strain.
Phenotypic informationThis is a strain that can be used with tissue specific cre recombinase expressing strains to induce cre-mediated Tpl2 ablation.

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen sperm. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
