Information from provider

ProviderRalf Adams
Provider affiliationTissue Morphogenesis, Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine
Genetic informationAn inducible cre deleter under the control of the vascular endothelial cadherin (Cdh5(PAC)) promoter; cre recombination is induced upon administration of tamoxifen. Useful for the study of angiogenesis, atherosclerosis and neovascularisation. Non-induced Cdh5(PAC)-creERT2 mice show absence of cre recombinase activity, while tamoxifen-induced Cdh5(PAC)-creERT2 mice show high levels of recombinase-mediated gene deletion in vascular endothelial cells (95%+).
