France, Greece, Czech Republic and Finland enter the INFRAFRONTIER GmbH

December 5, 2013

In a formal act authenticated by a notary in Munich, four founding members acquired shares of the INFRAFRONTIER GmbH: the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) from France, the Biomedical Sciences Research Center ‘Alexander Fleming’ from Greece, the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Acedemy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and the University of Oulu in Finland.

The INFRAFRONTIER GmbH had been established in April 2013 by the Helmholtz Zentrum München, based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Germany, France, Czech Republic, Greece and the EMBL.

With the signatures of the authorised representatives of CNRS (Prof. Daniel Boujard), of BSRC Alexander Fleming (Prof. Charalambos Savakis), of IMG ASCR (Dr. Radislav Sedlacek) and of the University of Oulu (Mr. Christian Bewart), the INFRAFRONTIER GmbH is now a truly European venture, as foreseen in the MoU.
