INFRAFRONTIER Conference 2025: A Milestone in Our Commitment to Rare Disease Research

May 6, 2025

On 28-29 April, the INFRAFRONTIER Conference 2025 brought together 25 leading experts in rare diseases and over 100 participants for a successful international event. With a programme that captivated attendees, the conference proved to be a memorable and inspiring occasion for all.

The scientific agenda focused on three core themes, all centred around rare disease research: Innovative In-Vitro & In-Vivo Models in Rare Disease Research, Translational Research in Rare Diseases, and European Resources for Rare Disease Research. The expertise of the speakers and the outstanding scientific quality of the presentations defined a conference that left a lasting impression.

Under the sunny sky of Munich, attendees enjoyed not only a rich scientific programme but also numerous opportunities for networking and informal exchange throughout the two-day event.

This conference was supported by funding from the Horizon Europe programme under the INFRAPLUS project (grant agreement No. 101131669). Through INFRAPLUS, INFRAFRONTIER aims to expand its capacity for human disease modelling, refine its service portfolio with an emphasis on reducing animal use and advancing alternative cellular models, and optimise the use of research resources.

INFRAFRONTIER Conference will be back in 2026, stay tuned!
