INFRAFRONTIER at the International Mammalian Genome Conference 2025 in Glasgow
From 6 to 9 April, the lively city of Glasgow hosted the International Mammalian Genome Conference (IMGC), and INFRAFRONTIER was proud to be there with a booth in the exhibition hall.
Over four exciting days, researchers and students from around the world visited our stand to learn more about the services and resources that we offer to the biomedical community for disease modelling. We had interesting conversations, answered questions, and shared insights in the friendly, collaborative spirit that defines IMGS’s events.
Conferences like this are a fantastic opportunity to stay connected to the state-of-the-art in biomedical research, discover current trends, and strengthen ties with the scientific community. We were also happy to reconnect with many of our partners and collaborators, and to share the exhibition hall with our friends from IMPC and NMGN at MRC Harwell.
INFRAFRONTIER was also strongly represented in the scientific programme. Notably, Yann Herault, President of the IMGS, contributed with a talk on Down syndrome mouse models. Martin Hrabe de Angelis, INFRAFRONTIER Director, delivered the prestigious George Snell Lecture, one of the keynote talks of the conference. Sara Wells led a hands-on workshop on Home Cage Monitoring, offering practical insights into this innovative technology. Additional presentations came from Marie-Christine Birling and Lydia Teboul, who addressed improved knock-in strategies using rAAV and best practices for genetic reporting in laboratory animals, respectively.
We’re grateful to have been part of such a dynamic and welcoming event. See you all again next year!
