Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderWolf Reik
Provider affiliationLaboratory of Imprinting and Development Genetics
Genetic informationA 1.7 kb direct tandem repeat unit in the differentially methylated region (DMR, the K repeat) was replaced with a floxed neo cassette, subsequently excised via transiently expressed Cre mediated recombination. Southern blot confirmed recombination. Northern blot showed no significant difference in gene expression between mutant and wild type tissues.
Phenotypic informationDeletion of the Rr27/H19 transcription start site shows no effect on imprinting expression or DNA methylation.
