Information from provider
Provider | Wolf Reik |
Provider affiliation | Laboratory of Imprinting and Development Genetics |
Genetic information | A 1.7 kb direct tandem repeat unit in the differentially methylated region (DMR, the K repeat) was replaced with a floxed neo cassette, subsequently excised via transiently expressed Cre mediated recombination. Southern blot confirmed recombination. Northern blot showed no significant difference in gene expression between mutant and wild type tissues. |
Phenotypic information | Deletion of the Rr27/H19 transcription start site shows no effect on imprinting expression or DNA methylation. |
