Genetic information | Floxed Fbxw7 gene and floxed Foxm1 gene. We have initially generated the Fbxw7 fl/fl homozygous mice (floxed Fbxw7, see EMMA strain EM:12632) and these were interbred with the Foxm1 fl/fl homozygous mice (floxed-Foxm1), both in C57BL/6 background. Foxm1 fl/fl homozygous mice were kindly gifted by Dr. RH Costa (Gastroenterology. 2007 Apr;132(4):1420-31. & Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A, 99 2002, pp. 16881–16886). Different configuration of Fbxw7 and Foxm1 genes were verified by PCR analysis. |
Phenotypic information | Homozygous:No overt phenotype, cre recombinase required for deletion of Fbxw7 and Foxm1.Heterozygous:No overt phenotype, cre recombinase required for deletion of Fbxw7 and Foxm1. |
Breeding history | Backcrossed onto C57BL/6J for at least 5 generations. |
