Provider affiliation | Univ. Helsinki |
Genetic information | The KCC2(6.8mut)luc is a transgenic luciferase reporter line with a genomic fragment of the Slc12a5 (KCC2) gene; similar to EMMA strain EM:14927 except for a 340bp (+355/+695) deletion in intron 1 that includes the neuron-restrictive silencer element (NRSE). The transgenic mice were produced by standard DNA pronucleus injection of fertilized FVB/N mouse strain oocytes. The transgenic strain was maintained in this background and has no obvious phenotype. |
