Information from provider

ProviderCristina Lopez Rodriguez
Provider affiliationUniversitat Pompeu Fabra
Genetic informationExon 6 of the Nfat5 gene was flanked by loxP sites by homologous recombination in C57BL/6 embryonic stem cells (Bruce 4). Original reference: Drews-Elger et al. PLoS ONE 2009
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
No obvious phenotype unless immune responses are induced. The full Nfat5 knockout is expected to be embryonic lethal in the C57BL/6 genetic background. Nfat5 floxed mice are healthy, with no phenotype. In our hands, conditional Nfat5 knockouts in different immune cell subtypes, are healthy.

Heterozygous:
No observed phenotype.
Breeding historyMutant mice were generated by homologous recombination in C57BL/6 embryonic stem cells (Bruce 4) and performing several backcrosses (more than 10 generations) to C57BL/6
