Research Resource Identifiers (RRID) are persistent unique ID numbers assigned to help researchers cite key resources (e.g. antibodies, model organisms and software projects) in the biomedical literature to improve transparency and reproducibility in research. See https://www.rrids.org/ for more information.

Information from provider

ProviderEsther Serrano-Saiz
Provider affiliationCBM-CSIC
Genetic informationTwo loxP sites have been introduced into exon 2 (including the translation start codon) of the Dmrt2 gene. The line needs to be crossed with a cre recombinase-expressing strain in order to generate a Dmrt2 mutant. This conditional mutant will allow the functional study of Dmrt2, including in postnatal stages of development. The sequence between the two loxP sites has been codon optimized but without generating aminoacid changes. CRISPR technology details: The construct was generated by easi-Crispr. The Alt-R S.p. HiFi Cas9 Nuclease was obtained from IDT (Integrated DNA Technologies) and Cas9 was not inserted into the mouse genome.
