| Genetic information | Knock-out of Npdc1 gene. This strain was obtained by backcrossing the B6;129X1-Npdc1tm1Ce/Orl strain (EMMA strain ID EM:00211) with C57BL/6J wild-type mice. The original B6;129X1-Npdc1tm1Ce/Orl mutant mice were generated by gene targeting in 129/SvJ ES cells. The genomic sequence (Genbank AF263513) was interrupted by the pGN plasmid sequence. This plasmid includes the lacZ gene and the neoR gene without polyadenylation sites. |
| Phenotypic information | Homozygous:no abnormal phenotype detectedHeterozygous:no abnormal phenotype detected |
