Information from provider

ProviderThomas Walther
Provider affiliationHull York Medical School, University of Hull
Genetic informationThe B1-receptor gene (Bdkrb1) was cloned from a genomic library of 129/SvJ mice in lambda FIXII. The targeting vector was generated by flanking the neomycin resistance gene with a 1.0 Kb genomic fragment 5' of the B1-coding region and a 7.0 Kb fragment 3' of the B1-coding region.
Phenotypic informationB1-deficient animals are grossly normal, fertile, and normotensive.
Breeding historyThe line is currently backcrossed to a C57BL/6J background (second generation of backcrossing).
