Information from provider

ProviderThierry Walzer
Provider affiliationCentre International de Recherche en Infectiologie (CIRI)
Genetic informationAn IRES-GFP reporter cassette was inserted in the 3' untranslated region of Eomes gene.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
EGFP is expressed in Eomes positive cells, without altering Eomes protein expression. Homozygous mice are normal and have a normal immune function.

Heterozygous:
Eomes positive cells already express high levels of EGFP
Breeding historyES cells (JM8) are C57BL/6N. The mice were backcrossed at least three times to C57BL/6J.

Availabilities

Requesting frozen sperm or embryos is generally advisable wherever possible, in order to minimise the shipment of live mice.

  • Frozen embryos. Delivered in 4 weeks (after paperwork in place). €1740*
  • Rederivation of mice from frozen stock, delivery time available upon request . €3880*

Due to the dynamic nature of our processes strain availability may change at short notice. The local repository manager will advise you in these circumstances.

* In addition users have to cover all the shipping costs (including the cost for returning dry-shippers, where applicable).
