PRIM-TECH3R Kick-off: Shaping the future of the 3Rs in Preclinical Research

Just one month after the official start of PRIM-TECH3R on 1 April, 2025, the project consortium gathered on 30 April for a dynamic and productive kick-off meeting –right after two inspiring days at the INFRAFRONTIER Conference 2025. The meeting brought together an outstanding group of partners ready to advance complex in vitro models for disease research and therapy validation.
PRIM-TECH3R aims to accelerate the development and adoption of preclinical in vitro systems that support the Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement (3Rs) of mouse models in biomedical studies. This initiative represents a vital step forward in the shared European mission to promote ethical and sustainable research, and directly supports INFRAFRONTIER ERIC’s long-term commitment to reducing animal use in science.
We are thrilled to collaborate with such an outstanding group of experts over the next four years and are confident that PRIM-TECH3R will drive real progress and help reshape the future of preclinical research.
