Genetic information | A three loxP targeting vector containing 5' and 3' homology arms with mouse Map3k8 (Tpl2) gene, a neomycin cassette flanked by loxP1 and loxP2 and exon 4 flanked by loxP2 and loxP3 was used for the generation of targeted mice through targeting of ES cells with vector and selection for homologous recombination. From mice bearing the homologous integration of targeting vector in the germ line both exon 4 and neomycin cassette were removed upon in vivo recombination by EIIa-Cre. |
