Information from provider

ProviderThibaud Clerc
Provider affiliationSV IBI LISP, EPFL
Genetic informationExons 5, 6, and 7 were flanked by loxP sites and an FRT flanked selection cassette was inserted. Properly targeted mice were bred to mice expressing flp recombinase in order to excise the selection cassette. Location: Chr10:63319005-63339035 bp, - strand Genetic Position: Chr10, 32.57 cM
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Mice that are homozygous for the transgenic insert are viable, fertile, normal in size and do not display any gross physical or behavioral abnormalities.

Heterozygous:
Mice that are heterozygous for the transgenic insert are viable, fertile, normal in size and do not display any gross physical or behavioral abnormalities.
Breeding historyES cells were injected in 129/Sv mouse. Properly targeted mice were bred to mice expressing flp recombinase in order to excise the selection cassette. Then 10 backcrosses were done with C57BL/6J mice.
