Information from provider

ProviderGeorge Kollias
Provider affiliationBSRC Al. Fleming
Genetic informationThe Tg1335 mice contain as transgene a 70 kb DNA fragment comprising the entire human TNFR2 (TNFRSF1B) genomic sequence.
Phenotypic informationHomozygous:
Homozygous mice develop a severe pathology characterized by multi-organ inflammation, reduced weight gain, runting, lethargy, and premature lethality.

Heterozygous:
Heterozygous TgE1335 mice overexpress human TNFR2 (TNFRSF1B) in a physiologically relevant pattern and develop a chronic but mild peri-vascular inflammatory pathology in liver, pancreas, and lung at 2-3 months.
